Girls soccer team wins!
The Bengals girls soccer tean defeated Gaithersburg by a score of 3-2 to move into the next round of the playoffs. The Bengals will play Quince Orchard, a 1-0 winner over Blair, next week.

Lady Bengals prepare for playoffs, Whitman
The Blake field hockey team is preparing for Thursday’s first-round playoff game with the third-seeded Whitman Vikings. Whitman has been a late-season roll, winning six of their last seven games.
The winner moves into next Tuesday’s semifinals against either first-seeded Springbrook or eighth-seeded Magruder.

An undermanned Bengals boys soccer team put up a fight, but was unable to win at Richard Montgomery. The Rockets took a 1-0 lead on an early goal, then sealed the win with a second goal in the 77th minute.

Field Hockey - Varsity falls, JV wins in OT
On a brisk but beautiful afternoon, the Blake varsity field hockey team fell to a strong Springbrook squad by a 4-0 score. The JV exacted some revenge with an exciting 3-2 overtime win. After falling behind 2-0, second half-goals by Kelly Parker and Erica Feldman tied the game. In overtime, Kelly Parker made a long run and then beat the Springbrook goalie to seal the win.
