Congratulations to the Lady Bengals' Rebecca Mondonedo and Rachel Schexnayder for earning 1st Team Field Hockey Honors, as selected by the MCPS Coaches All County List. Megan Hanagan also earned 2nd Team Honors. This list should be printed in the Journal and Gazette very soon.

Two Lady Bengals honored for field hockey accomplishments
Congratulations to Rachel Schexnayder for earning a Washington Post All-Met Honorable Mention. She is Blake's first field hockey athlete to be recognized by the Washington Post (and possibly the first Blake female athlete ever to earn a Post All-Met honor). A junior, Rachel is a midfield/defensive player on Blake's 12-2-1 varsity field hockey team.
Senior Rebecca Mondonedo was named to The Journal's All-Journal team. The Journal has combined PG county, Montgomery County, DC, and the private schools to create this team. The first team is limited to the top 11 girls for the entire area, so this is quite an accomplishment! Congratulations Rebecca on your selection!
Finally, both Rachel and Rebecca were named by The Gazette to the All-Gazette First Team.
